Historical records from 1938 already list LeRoux Maraschino among the company's products, and a wonderful piece of advertising from 1944 specifically advertises LeRoux Maraschino at 65 proof—the same proof shown on this bottle's original label.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eLeRoux continued producing Maraschino for decades; by the 1960s, historical price lists still show the spirit, although its proof had changed to 60 proof.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBecause the surviving label alone isn't enough to establish the exact production year of this particular bottle, I don't assign it a specific date. The rim has been hand-ground and finished smooth while preserving the original LeRoux label and character of the glass.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis piece began its life as a genuine vintage liquor bottle. The label and glass show natural signs of age, including fading, discoloration, scratches, marks and other imperfections.
