Industrial Candle Bloom – Reclaimed Metal Sculpture

Repurposed candleholder & spiked steel crown. ⚙️

I grabbed a vintage metal candleholder and completely reimagined it for the flower head—welding a wild, bumpy field of molten steel texture directly into the dish to form a gritty center core. I framed the rim with sharp, hand-cut star points and mounted it high on a thick, curving stem. Clinging to the stalk and spilling over the heavy plate steel base are crawling tendrils built from stacked, welded steel punch-outs.

At nearly four pounds, it’s a heavy, unapologetic piece packed with rough tactile contrast—from deep, flaking rust to dark oxidized steel.
