Serpentine Mesh Bloom – Fireplace Screen Edition

The wire mesh backing survived years of heat on an old outdoor fireplace before getting a second life. For the stem, I pulled a perforated steel strip straight out of the scrap bin at Metal Supermarkets and welded it into a smooth S-curve wave. Up top sits a deeply cupped, rusted blossom, anchored down by a solid steel base.

All rich, natural rust texture from top to bottom—built to last forever without needing a drop of water.
