The bagel equivalent to government-issued equipment - nothing fancy, somehow dependable, and surprisingly good once you figure out what to put on it. Unlike most issued gear, you'll actually want another one.

These are the dependable troops of the bagel unit.  Toast them. Cream-cheese them. Butter them. Turn them into breakfast sandwiches.  Or eat one directly from the bag while claiming, "I just want to see what it tastes like plain." Intelligence reports confirm nobody knows why this requires finishing the entire bagel.

Field testing shows customers frequently buy the plain ones "for everyone else," then discover approximately twelve minutes later that they are everyone else.
